The exceptional tuning potential of ITB's allows for precise customization on a per-cylinder basis, catering to performance enthusiasts seeking maximum power and efficiency. From an aesthetic perspective, ITB's contribute to a clean and organized engine bay appearance, especially when combined with other performance modifications.

It's important to note that installing and tuning Rasant ITB's does require additional supporting modifications to the engine management system. To optimize the ITB's to their fullest potential, we do recommend that the ITB's are paired with a custom engine harness and Emtron ECM.

The optimization of Individual Throttle Body (ITB) diameters in relation to engine displacement is crucial for achieving efficient air intake and maximizing performance. The displacement of an engine influences the volume of air it can draw in during each intake cycle. Larger engine displacements generally require larger volumes of air. To match this demand, the diameters of the ITBs must be optimized to allow sufficient airflow to meet the engine's requirements for optimal combustion.

ITB diameters impact the velocity and speed of the incoming air. For smaller engines with lower displacements, smaller ITB diameters may be suitable to maintain high air velocity, promoting better cylinder filling at lower RPMs. Larger engines, on the other hand, may benefit from larger ITB diameters to ensure adequate airflow without causing excessive turbulence.

The diameter of ITB's affects throttle response. Smaller ITB's may result in quicker response times, beneficial for smaller engines where rapid adjustments are often necessary. In contrast, larger ITB's may provide a smoother and more controlled response for larger engines, contributing to drivability and performance.

Each cylinder gets its own throttle body, allowing for more immediate and precise response to driver inputs. This results in a direct connection between the accelerator pedal and each cylinder, enhancing throttle control and feedback.

Our ITB's are designed to provide more uniform airflow to each cylinder compared to a single throttle body shared among multiple cylinders. This improved air distribution contributes to more balanced combustion and power delivery across all cylinders.

INCREASED AIR FLOW​

We offer our ITB's in a 42mm or 48mm design, depending on engine application. These ITB diameters allow for a greater volume of airflow into the engine, promoting improved engine breathing and increasing horsepower.
